All grapes were handpicked and trodden by foot in granite lagares. The fermentation lasted 8 days. The malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel vats and wooden barrels.

The wine was aged in wooden barrels for 14 months, with 55% in new French oak barrels.
Tasting notes
This floral wine comes from a grape that's widely planted in the Douro although not often seen by itself. It has plenty of fine grained tannins as well as a perfumed character. Full of black fruits and with good acidity. Well integrated and strong oaky tannins.
